Amps installation on a Laptop or PC

Welcome to this guide. follow each step exactly to get AMPS installed on your computer before taking my class.

Downloading the required files

1. Visual C++ libraries: 

1. choose English and press Download
2. on the next page, choose vcredist_x86.exe and hit next
3. save the file on your computer, run the installer and follow the instructions on the screen

2. AMPS system prep

1. save the file on your computer
2. after downloading run the file and follow the instructions on the screen
3. Stage 1: Hit next
4. 
5. Hit Finish
6. 

3. Download AMPS installer

1. save the file on your computer ad run the setup process
2. now we start the actual process of installing AMPS
3. press next
4. 
5. check “I agree” and hit next
6. 
7. Enter your name in English. You can leave the second field empty
8. 
9. hit next again
10. 
11. now choose your preferred AMPS version to install and hit next. only choose AMPSPro if you have plans to use a double player which is not needed for IFD
12. 
13. now hit install
14. 
15. after installation is done, tick “launch” and press finish
16. 
17. on the next screen we’ll create a 2 months free trial license so just press start activation. you’ll need an active internet connection to proceed
18. 
19. press begin
20. 
21. internet connection will be confirmed and then press begin
22. 
23. select I want to request a new key
24. 
25. enter your REAL details because the confirmation link will be sent to your Email and you need it to continue
26. 
27. you will get an email that looks like that. all you need to do is press the link
28. 
29. you will be redirected to the purchase page. you don’t have to do it now but you will need to do it WITHIN 2 MONTHS from the installation or the program will be locked.

31. go back to the installer window and hit next

33. press yes if you did press the link in your email
34. 
35. you’ll get a license key in your window.. it will be different than what’s here. just hit next
36. 
37. now you will see the final license screen. just hti close
38. 
39. you will get a popup that will tell you when your trial will expire. You must activate the program before that date
40. 
41. now let’s run the program. you will see an icon on your desktop
42. 
43. you will be prompted to create a new database. hit ok
44. 
45. choose Israeli Dance and hit save
46. 
47. the database is ready to start so hit Launch AMPS
48. 
49. if you haven’t activated your copy of AMPS you will see that screen. choose standard and hit continue
50. 
51. on your first run you will see the daily tip window. uncheck the box and hit close
52. 
53. You are done!
